CHAMPAGNE
Champagne, located in the north-east of France, is a region known throughout the world for its exquisite sparkling wines. A trip here is an ideal opportunity to immerse yourself in an atmosphere of luxury and taste. Picturesque vineyards that stretch along the hills enchant with their green landscapes, and cozy wineries invite you to taste real champagne. Champagne is famous not only for its drinks, but also for its rich cultural heritage: the majestic Reims Cathedral, where French kings were crowned, and the historic city of Troyes with its half-timbered houses will give unforgettable impressions to every traveler.

Excursion program in Champagne
We offer everyone to take part in a fascinating excursion to the Champagne region, as part of an excursion mini-group of seven people. The journey will begin from any convenient place for tourists in Paris. In a car or minibus, depending on the number of passengers, the trip will begin along the A4 highway. At the end, everyone is taken back to the hotel or other temporary accommodation in Paris.

First, we suggest visiting the birthplace of the most delicious drink - champagne, the city of Epernay, which is located 160 kilometers from the capital of France. In the dungeons of this town, cellars filled with millions of bottles that have been aged there for many years stretch for 120 km. It is here on Champagne Avenue that the houses of such famous producers of sparkling wines are located. They are constantly open for tourist visits and excursion participants are offered to visit one of them. There you can go down into the deep cellars and see the stored collections, watch the process of corking bottles. There you will be told in detail about the technology of champagne production, and at the end of the visit you will be offered to taste wines of different types and aging.

Then the excursion will continue to the town of Reims, along the famous Champagne route. Along the way, you will see the church where the inventor of one of the most delicious champagnes, Dom Perignon, is buried. Then you can climb the highest hill, located above the statue of Pope Urban II. From above, a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding beauty and hillsides, which are completely planted with vineyards, opens up.

The next stage is a trip to Reims itself, the capital of the famous Champagne region. The trip itself takes about 40 minutes, and upon arrival, a delicious lunch and a walking tour are organized. During the trip, there will be a visit to the local Reims Cathedral, then the historical center of the capital. You will also be able to see other attractions - the famous Arc de Triomphe, the Basilica of Saint-Remi, the Mars Gate, as well as the surviving remains of the ancient Roman Forum.

Tickets for entry to the champagne house and tasting are paid separately according to the individual wishes of tourists.
